About Me
My name is Iliana Pineda. I am Latinx filmmaker and multimedia producer based in the South Jersey and Philadelphia region. I am proficient in all aspects of video production, from pre to post production. I primarily work on Spanish/English language videos, which allows me to connect with Latinx community members, organizations, and individuals. Aside from that, I work as a production assistant on various film shoots to gain more experience in the realm of narrative filmmaking.
I began my filmmaking career at Rowan University. I majored in Radio, Television, and Film. I then graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in May of 2023. I first began working with community media organizations that gave me the building blocks and tools to further enhance my skills. I interned at PhillyCam back in 2022, and from then was a Contracted Technical Director till 2023. From Fall of 2023 to Summer of 2024, I was a Media Futures Apprentice at Big Picture Alliance where I got hands-on training in short-documentary style filmmaking.
Currently I work as a Multimedia Producer for both Chelsea Economic Development Corporation, based in Atlantic City, and ¡Presente! Media, based in Philadelphia. In both of these roles, I work on a variety of videos that highlight community events, local business owners, and other important social/cultural sectors that need to have their messages shared.
I hope to continue working with the community and highlight their stories. Hope you continue to follow along, there are so many more stories to tell!
